{Church the Way God Sees It}

The foundation is Christ. The builder is God. And His materials used to build the church are US. We make up the church. But God doesn't ask of us to go to church every Sunday. That's what we do in order to become equipped and filled to do His work in His kingdom. God requires us to BE the church. It is through the body of His believers that His mission gets accomplished. And that requires more believing in Jesus. It requires work from us- everyday Kingdom work of our everyday Kingdom lives. Work matters because it was God's intention for us. It is our part in His creation, and therefore part of our mission as humans. So whoever you are and whatever you do, know that your work matters. It doesn't matter if you're a student, a wife, a mother, a minister or someone who sits behind a desk all day- your work matters. And if you do your work through your faith, God will bear fruit through you in ways you may not even be aware of, allowing you to share with the world a taste of God's glory and goodness. And who doesn't want that?
