{“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near," (Hebrews 10:24-25)}

One thing that I've held a special focus on over the last few months is learning how to be completely transparent with people. Being honest about your struggles and your of the world addictions is hard. And part of the reason that it's so hard is because we take the gift of community for granted. We don't use it for what it is. Community is not a place where we come together to make each other feel bad about ourselves by sharing our latest life achievements. It's not a place where we come to judge others and compare ourselves to those around us. It's a place of constant & warm welcomes. And these warm welcomes are open to everyone and extended out of love. Community is a gift that should be used to love others through their struggles and to accept people for who they are, but refuse to leave them with where they're at. It's a place where people come together to grow as they focus on growing with the Lord as they experience His redemption. Ladies, if there's anything that unites each and every one of us, it's sin. And if we truly walk with each other in our rawness and our vulnerability through our everyday battles, we will experience the very unity that God desires for us to have in this life. You can start this simply by telling people how you really feel when they ask how you're doing. That's step one; not keeping things to yourself when those who care about you and desire to walk with you are with you and for you. Don't be afraid to be honest. Transparency opens doors and breaks down walls. It will greatly relieve and reward you. True Christian community is life in relationship, dear sisters. Be relational with those around you. Take off the mask and live out of an authentic vulnerability that brings you one step closer to Him.
