If you're anything like me, you struggle with being content. There's always something on the agenda and when it's marked off you look ahead to what can be checked off next instead of using the free time you have to breathe. It feels weird when we get to those moments where we can actually breathe, but that's only because we're so used to going, going, going and doing, doing, doing.

Ladies, our contentment in life is not only commanded by God, it's also commended. I want to share some tips with you that will allow you to live out of a place of content.

1) {"Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus." -1 Timothy 5:18}

 --Give thanks in ALL things. Discouragement drains. Thankfulness not only shows obedience to the Lord, but it also fills us.

 2){ “Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.” -Psalm 116:7}

--Rest & relax in the presence of the Almighty. Why is it so easy to get caught up in our lives, but so hard to make time for God? Making time for our Father, the very reason we live, should be something that comes naturally.

3) {"Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth." -Colossians 3:2}

--Ladies, we live in the world, but we must set our minds on the things above it so that we may rise above and be that city on a hill.You are not what the world thinks. You are everything God says. Remember this. Give yourself time to get into learning how to live out of a place of content. Be easy&gentle on yourself, but do make this a priority for your life. By doing so, God will produce abundant fruit through you in ways that will not only bless your spiritual well-being, but the spiritual well-being of those around you as well.
