{"Do not fear, only believe." -Mark 5:36}

Sometimes, in order to get from where we are to where we need to be, taking a leap of faith is required of us. The type of leap that acknowledges the following of God's call on our lives. And this kind of leap can be scary because we have no idea if we'll even make it all the way across the jump or what the rest of our adventure entails once our feet hit solid ground on the other side. But isn't that what adventures are all about; getting anxious, terrified, nauseous, and all sorts of things when we do something for the first time? It's uncomfortable for us because we're just not used to it. But getting out of our comfort zones is one of the most challenging and rewarding parts of being a disciple. We're not called to be comfortable. God wants us to take risks for Him; to see how far we are willing to go.

Will we trust Him and take that leap of faith? Or, will we try to find our own way around things?

Today, I want to challenge you to be a risk taker. Acknowledge your fear, but allow your faith and Who it's in to conquer that fear and give you the confidence you need, as well as that boost of exhilaration in order to make the jump. Encourage yourself with the words of Jesus when you see a jump approaching. "Do not be fear, only believe." The choice to jump is yours, but remember: the One who calls you to jump is also the Pilot of where you land. And I can guarantee you that wherever He needs you to be is exactly where He'll take you to go.
