Affirming Yourself in the Word of God; Day 2.
In God, you have acceptance, security, purpose, and freedom...everything you need to live a Kingdom-filled life. My dear sisters, your image and all that God has to offer you through it is your divine invitation into the Story; an invitation that offers the security, acceptance, and freedom for you to be you as you seek to fulfill your purpose. Living to please God is completely different than living to please others. God is our eternal Father, Creator, and Friend. He always satisfies. The world, however, does not. It is temporary, competitive, and mean. You are not called to please the world. You are called to please your Maker by living your life in honor of Him and sharing His love with the world. You were created to live freely and fully. Don't live behind a mask. It may be easy to do, but I can guarantee it's not worth it. What is worth it, however, is letting go of your worldly life and seeking the things above. Living a life that seeks acceptance causes us to miss out on the one Who accepts us as we are. Insecurities stem from a life that is rooted in finding acceptance through of the world things. When we take the time to appreciate ourselves and deeply love ourselves, we find comfort in the Comforter and learn how to secure the insecurities we struggle with. You are not a nobody. You are a somebody full of beauty, value, purpose, and life. And there is no one else like you.

•"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need," (Matthew 6:33).

•"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect," (Romans 12:2).

You are made by God and for God, and you are called by God and for God. Live up to your calling and dedicate every piece of who you truly are to the expansion of God's Kingdom. Be the you that you were created to be.
