If we walk in the light as He is in the light…the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. —1 John 1:7

Can you imagine walking in pitch black darkness with no light? I don't know about you, but just the thought alone instills quite the fear within me. As God's children, we do not ever have to worry about walking in dark places without a light. He calls us to “walk in the light as He is in the light…”— not in the light of our own understanding, but in His light.

As we continue to pursue the Lord, we will find ourselves getting closer to living in the light. This is because the more we pursue Him, the more He fills us- with love, life, and the glorious light that will not only lead the way for us, but point those around us in the right direction, too. If we seek to approach the throne of God with open hearts, ready to be wiped clean of our dirt, then this inspiring truth is not only revealed to us, but also manifested within us: the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.

As Oswald Chambers once said, "To 'walk in the light' means that everything that is of the darkness actually drives me closer to the center of the light." Walk in the light, sweet sisters.

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light." —Ephesians 5:8
