I am super picky about smells. Perfumes, cleaning products, candles, I’m sure they smell great to some people, but I just can’t handle certain scents. The same is also true of our lives. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing
. -1Corinthians 2:15

What matters most in life is not trying to please everyone (which is impossible), but rather choosing to live in a manner pleasing solely to our Heavenly Father;  choosing to live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God (Ephesians 5:2).

Today, take a moment and consider – What is the fragrance of your life? Is it marked by the sweet aroma of love? For God? For others? For self?

And so, dear sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. -Romans 12:1)

Living and loving, your life is your worship, an aroma holy and pleasing in gratitude for His sacrifice.
