The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. -2 Peter 3:9 (AMP)

We are progressive masterpieces.

Throughout the course of my short 26 years of life, I have learned that perception is all in where you stand, God is always working, and He is extraordinary patient with us.

My brother just recently returned to Jesus. I have been praying for over 14 years for his salvation, for my blood brother to become my spiritual brother.

These prayers have permeated our mother's death, spanning over our travels of more than 2,000 miles, and several life changes. we are progressive masterpieces aren't we? During this time of my life, I often grew weary and wondered if my prayers were even making a difference.

Our Father God was always working. Through this process of watching my brother walk back to Jesus, God has been refining me. By teaching me to never stop praying, believing for Him to work, and allowing grace to flow sideways between my brother and  I.

I am a progressive masterpiece. I am so thankful Jesus has never given up on me, I am so thankful the saints never stopped praying for me. I am so thankful My brother has returned to Jesus. Watching art being created is both painful and beautiful, the artist may know the vision of the masterpiece, but the process takes time. My brother is restored to the family of God, and this masterpiece in the act of creation is a beautiful sight.

I am thankful God's timing is not my own. The lessons we learn through the seasons of praying without ceasing. God is not slow in the perception of people's slowness, he will not delay in what he promised!

Beloved, cling to the promises and remind your spirit God is not slow! Allow grace to change you, because you are a progressive masterpiece.
