Do you ever feel your value as a woman rests solely in your appearance – a pretty face and a nice body? We exercise and primp and forgo dessert, and for what? To find love? To reach perfection? To look better than her?

One day the Eternal God scooped dirt out of the ground, sculpted it into the shape we call human, breathed the breath that gives life into the nostrils of the human, and the human became a living soul. -Genesis 2:7

You are so much more than your body. You are a God-breathed living soul. Body and spirit working as one for the glory of His Kingdom.

For we are the product of His hand, heaven’s poetry etched on lives, created in the Anointed, Jesus, to accomplish the good works God arranged long ago. -Ephesians 2:10

And when the world tries to tell you lies- lies about your worth, your value as a human being, remember who you belong to and the price He paid for you, beautiful soul.

Let’s pray:

Eternal One, You are my Father. I am just clay, and You are the potter. I am the product of Your creative action, shaped and formed into something of worth. While people may judge outward appearances, You Lord look at the heart. May I remain committed to beautifying the inside of your creation as much as the exterior. Amen.
