You know those mornings...the alarm didn't go off, you overslept, you did not get the morning the way you would have liked it. You know those mornings...your eyeliner isn't perfect, clean hair is more important than styled hair, your inbox is already filling up before you even leave the house. Yeah, those mornings...you're tired and you contemplate going back to bed and skipping the day entirely.

Everyone seems to "need you" and you are pulled in what seems like a million different directions all before 8 am. You cannot consume enough coffee to somehow muster up the energy to face the day. But, you must.

The world needs your light and gift. Has the sun not risen to begin a new day? Then, today is the day the Lord has made and he has planned a purpose for you in this day. Speak to your spirit man, you know the one: the one deep inside you that you can hear if you quiet yourself long enough to listen. That one, you have light to bring to today that only you can bring.

So, tell the sleep in your eyes to wash away, tell your face and outfit reflecting in the mirror that you are beautiful and enough: a warrior. Drink that thermos of coffee (or three), and look straight into the face of fear and anxiety over this morning and say: "This is me and Jesus' day, and the world needs our light." and then...beloved, GO.

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel." -Acts 9:15
