Everywhere we look there's a battle. In John 10:10 we're told that our enemy, the thief, comes only to steal, kill and destroy, so it shouldn't surprise us when we're being bombarded from every side. If it's not our health it's our finances. If it's not our finances it's our relationships or jobs. The list drags on, along with the stress. It wears us down, and frankly, it gets old sometimes! Sometimes I am simply tired of fighting. I want to be done with the struggles and done with the constant need to keep my armor on.

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.- ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Alas, as long as we are in this world, God’s children and peculiar people, we will be under attack. We’ll always have mountains to climb, hurdles to jump, and giants to knock down. The good news? We don't have to do any of this alone! We have our Almighty Father walking with us, and He is greater than anything the world throws our way.

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.- 1 John‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

So keep your chin up and maintain that fighting stance. When you need that extra measure of strength look to God, and know that the victory is ours. He's already delivered the knockout.
