Nothing is impossible for God, but only if we have surrendered. Have you surrendered?

I have so many dreams. Teacher, leader, principal, speaker, mom, wife, writer, dreamer, encourager. I would often wonder how these dreams would all materialize in my life. In my anxiety I would stay awake at night or get caught daydreaming.
Surrender. Until I fully embraced that word, my dreams could never came to pass.

I am a child of divorce, which has caused me to be tempted to fear the same end to my own future marriage. Nothing is impossible without surrender.

The words to an old faithful song by Barlow Girl entitled surrender come to mind:

Say you have a plan for me
And that you want the best for my life
Told me the world had yet to see
What you can do with one that's committed to your call
I know of course what I should do
That I can't hold these dreams forever
If I give 'em now to you, will you take them away forever?
Or can I dream again?
"Surrender, surrender", you whisper gently

Without Christ, my marriage would end in demise--with Christ all things are possible. Yes, even to bring me over 2,000 miles through many odd paths to the front doorstep of my future husband's church...even that is possible with Christ.

All creation bows down and worships, and all creation exists in surrender to our Creator. Yet, until we surrender, our dreams cannot fully come into fruition as God has intended them to bloom.

That dream. You know the one, the one that keeps you awake at night or the one that you daydream about when you're at work...yes, even that one beloved.. surrender.

Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible." Matthew 19:26
