The enemy catches us in our worst moments. He slips in while we're isolated. He appears in ways we don't see him. He perverts the truth and hits us where it hurts. He wants to stop us from our God given potential by distracting us.

I recently experienced attacks of the enemy by thinking I don't have a calling from God or that my past disqualifies me from my future. I struggled with my walk with God because of comparison and not knowing who's voice was speaking over me.

Thankfully I have great, godly friends. I was able to talk through my struggles. They prayed over me and encouraged me. I'm so thankful for the friends that God has given me to battle life with and remind me of God's truth. I encourage you to find godly friends you can talk to when you feel the enemy attacking. Get in a small group at your church and meet other women. You never know who may be struggling with your same issues. \

Don't do life alone.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. -Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)
