Today, I find myself incredibly happy. I feel free and freedom is a grand feeling! Free from sin, free from fear, and free from the lies of the enemy.

Yet, I am not unaware of Satan's schemes. He has one purpose and one purpose only: to steal, kill, and destroy my joy and my life. (John 10:10) That very same passage promises us as God's children that although Satan is attempting to steal our lives and our joy in living, Jesus reminds us that he has come to give us, life and life more abundantly! (John 10:10)

Abundant life! That means joy and oh so unspeakable joy! Oh that we as believers would take hold of the freedom and joy that a life in Christ brings us!

A way in which Satan has attempted to steal me of my joy is through the spirit of anxiety and depression. However, I find that consistently, freedom and joy comes when I worship! I can dance in freedom and sing loudly in the joy that Jesus brings.

We bring delight to our Creator and encouragement to other believers when we are filled with joy! Smiles light up our spirit, which radiates our faces, and we shine beautifully never to be covered with shame.

Today, find joy in your living and happiness in your worship.

I sought the Lord (worship) and he answered me (prayer), those who look to him (worship) are radiant (joy), their faces are never covered with shame. -Psalm 34:4-5
