Thanking God in remembrance of you.

I have lived everywhere...well, many places.  I have friends who live everywhere...Africa, Colorado, Turkey, Florida, Ohio, Dominican Republic, Washington D.C., to name a few.

In my 26 years, I have lived in 10 zip codes and have completed an over 1,000 mile move twice.
My heart aches to be with my friends, yet distance and time keep us far apart. There is a reason, far beyond what my earthly eyes can see, that our paths have crossed and we've shared time and memories together.

Through my journey, I have discovered many new friends and people from all over this world we call home.

There is beauty in travel and discovery, in moving and getting to meet different people and see new places.

Time zones, zip codes, weather, culture, miles, miles, miles.....all are ways we are separated. And yet, God ties us together under one sky, in one body, part of one family. Modern technology allows us to connect, and prayer spans continents.

Although my heart may ache to see my distant friends, I choose instead of complaining that we are separated, let us thank God for the blessing of our friends and pray for them.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy. For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now. -Philippians 1:3-5
