Everyone desires to be wanted. Everyone wants someone to be thankful for them, even our Heavenly Father. He gave the ultimate gift. He’s the keeper of our soul and the Creator of life around us.

May we be a people that show our gratitude for His blessings he bountifully bestows on our lives. May we express our thankfulness to our neighbors in word and deed.

May we be gracious to those around us and show our gratitude to the Father because we can’t travel this journey alone.

When you need a reminder, here are some verses of gratitude for your journey:

Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.
–Psalm 103:8-10

Sing praises to the Lord, Oh you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name.
–Psalm 30:4

But we the people, the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; from generation to generation we will recount your praise. –Psalm 79:13

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!
–Psalm 118:1

But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. –Romans 6:17

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. –1 Corinthians 15:56-57

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.
-2 Corinthians 2:14

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
 – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brother beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the first fruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. –2 Thessalonians 2:13

You will be enriched in every way for al your generosity which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. –2 Corinthians 9:11
