Abundance is one of the first words that comes to my mind with the start of the holiday season. This is the time of year where there will be an abundance of time with family and friends, laughter, and those “warm and fuzzy feelings” I get from being around those I love.

I know that I am blessed when it comes to these abundances and I am extremely thankful for them, but none of them are the best abundances in my life… The best abundance I am given is God’s grace and love. "The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. – 1 Timothy 1:14 (NIV)

While I am blessed with my earthly abundances, I am even more blessed with God’s abundances. I have done absolutely nothing to deserve them, yet God is still there giving me unconditional love and grace. The holidays remind me to be more conscious of everything good in my life and show how thankful I truly am for it all. This holiday season – and every other season of the year – I want to abundantly pour my love and thankfulness over my life and the people in it just as God as pours his love and grace over me.
