First, if you haven't read Bethany's devotional from yesterday, do that.

Second, could it be that God is calling His girls closer and closer into intimacy with Him through the quiet? I believe so. My life is busy, some self-induced as Karlie talked about, some busyness is just a fact of life. The last three days, God has strongly reminded me each morning to start with Him. So, before I even have a sip of coffee I've been sitting in my most comfortable spot with my journal and devotional book that is saturated with the Word of God.

If you do nothing else today, take the quiet moment with Jesus. "Be still," He says, "and know that I am God." (Ps 46:10).

The conversation you're worried about having? Be still.
The kitchen that is a disaster? Be still. (But then probably clean the kitchen)
The work dissension that's causing you anxiety? Be still.
The bill you can't pay because there's no money? Be still.
The phone call you're dreading? Be still.
The To-Do list that's two Miles too long? Be still.
We have the answers to our busyness and worldly anxieties, girls.
Be still.

Soak His presence in today.
He desires yours.
