Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. -Joshua 1:9

You may be reading this from work, from school, while waiting for something or someone, or in between your daily life tasks. While you're doing those things today, my family is sitting in a hospital surgical waiting room anxiously, and prayerfully, petitioning to our God to heal my Daddy fully.

We believe that Jesus is a healer. He heals us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We also live in a world that is filled with lies about who Jesus is, what He can do, and it's easy to forget that He is the ultimate healer. When we forget that, we go into a place of fear. The Scripture is very clear that we are to be courageous and not afraid or discouraged.

Where are you afraid to go today?

Remember, we have been given a spirit of power, not of fear.

The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
The hospital waiting room? He is there.
The uncomfortable work meeting? He is there.
The conflict with your friend? He is there.
The seemingly mundane daily life that terrifies you? He is there.
The overseas mission trip? He is there. ...and the operating room? He is there.
Cling to Him, today.
He is there.
