She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.-Proverbs 31:26

Girls. I can't stand it.

I cannot and I will not participate in the women-judging, women-bashing, women-gossip any longer. How ugly!
It is imperative that we are encouraging, that we are kind, that we are loving. Why, when another woman walks into the room do we instantly size her up? Why do we decide our scarf is prettier, her eye make up needs a touch up, or her hair is something out of an 80s movie? (Mine legitimately is so...) Why do we compare our blogs? Our tshirt lines? Our Instagrams? Our ridiculous amounts (or lack of!) of Twitter followers? It's the complete opposite of the Kingdom minded living that God has sacrificed so much (his only son!) for.

It has to stop.

Stop comparing ourselves and our stuff and our creativeness and our families and our wardrobes. Let's stop putting someone down to make ourselves feel better.

May the teaching of kindness forever be on our tongues.

What holds us back from offering encouragement when we know most of us struggle with feelings of insecurity? Why, when we have the power to do so much good for each other, do we not do it? Why would I not, when I have a good thought about another person, simply say it?
