Often, we underestimate Jesus.

We pour out worry over a matter that we cling to instead of surrendering.
We believe we can make it through a hectic day without acknowledging His presence in our lives.
We convince ourselves that crying out to our Savior may inconvenience Him or possibly even make us look weak.

Let me tell you friends, nothing is an inconvenience to our Heavenly Father. And we certainly are frail and weak souls compared to His holy presence in our lives. That is okay.

We must allow Him to fulfill His power in our lives. Our God is not a pushy or demanding God. We must invite His Son on the journey of life each day.

This invitation is not a conditional one. We cannot only invite Him in on the days we succeed or have it all together. We cannot fool our God. We must seek the peace Jesus provides when we invite Him in.

Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Each day is a new day. Let us invite Jesus to join us each morning. Let us take this life day by day and follow His plan for our lives.

                    About the Author

Hope Boyd≫ ≫This 19-year-old gal receives the honor of calling Clarksville, TN, home. Hope Lauren is in her sophomore year at Austin Peay State University and works part-time for a local coffee shop inside of a beautiful antique marketplace in her hometown. When she is not knee deep in the Word of God, Hope can be found grabbing coffee within a 100-mile radius (she loves to coffee shop hop) or on any trail--as she frequently takes hiking trips to the mountains in the eastern part of her beloved state. Hope will only be calling the United States home for three more months; she will be moving to Ethiopia to serve as a field director for a non-profit that advocates child sponsorship and cares for the orphans in Africa. She is thrilled to be spending her last few months in the States with the Daughter of Delight ministry and can hardly wait to see what the Lord has in store for everyone this season. Follow her adventures via pictures on Instagram: @ho__bo__
