Lately, I’ve been having to constantly redirect my thoughts back to God. I so easily find myself getting distracted and getting hung up on my own plans and dreams. Then anxiety creeps into my life when I think about what could possibly go wrong. And fear creeps in when I worry about what people think or how they will react. But then I stop and I turn to God to hear Him say “I am enough for you.” So, I started declaring over my life: “Lord, You are all that I need. Whatever comes my way I will trust in You. If none of my plans work out, You are still good. If the world crumbles around me, I still have the victory because You sent Your Son for me. Nothing separates me from Your love!” In all the seasons of life, I will choose to bless the Name of the Lord. I will trust in Him. He alone is worthy and He alone is sufficient. His will is perfect- through the ups and downs. His ways are higher and when I don’t understand I will still trust in Him!

And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” –Job 1:21(ESV)

Wherever you are in life: Whether you are worrying about a relationship, a job, a family member, your health, or your finances- know that God is good and His ways are higher. Whatever happens you always have victory in Christ for He has freed you for eternity. God is enough.
