Every day I fail God in trusting in His word. I let my doubts influence me too much. And it then begins to tear my relationship with Him.

In every season God has put in my life, I have doubted Him. Even when He walks with me through the storm, holds me and strengthens me...I still doubt Him. Over and over again He will remind me of His word through verses or scriptures from His Word. And in those moments I am fully aware that I am hearing His voice.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. -Proverbs 3:5

Lately I’ve been hearing that submitting to God means to resist the devil; it means that fear will come, doubt will come. But I have to choose to put my trust in God's Word and not listen to the lies of the enemy. Because exactly where God is working in me the most is the very place the devil is aiming to destroy the most.

That’s why it is important to be content in Him every season we go through, to abide in His word. To observe what the Holy Spirit is reminding us, what God is calling us too.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. -John 10:10
