Feeling beautiful can be an uncomfortable place for me. Feeling confident in my beauty has never been an easy feat, and I am certain that I am not the only woman who struggles in this area. We compare our complex beauty with others, we critique our beauty and tend to point out our flaws rather than see ourselves through the eyes of the One who so delicately made us.

Psalm 139:13-14 says, “You made all the delicate and inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous- how well I know it,” (NLT).

Where we see our flaws, God sees a unique form of beauty. He created each of us with our own complexities and distinct qualities, and each time, He said, “It is good.” God didn’t create us so intimately and uniquely so that we could compare and put a brand on beautiful. There is no one beautiful body type, or face shape, or size. He formed us exactly the way He wanted us to be, seeing nothing but pure beauty in every soul He has breathed life into, and a purpose for each of us. Be confident today in your beauty.

You are His masterpiece.
