His grace is like an ocean but I feel too broken. I am shattered and scattered, trying to pick myself up piece by piece. His grace is like an ocean but I am building a boat; fighting so hard to stay afloat. 20/20 vision but my eyes cannot see; that it has nothing to do with me! I am trying to live a godly life by my own ability, not realizing holiness is not a product of my own flesh but a work of grace. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned throughthat one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. -Romans 5:17(NIV)

Lord, I see the love in your eyes as you lay yourself down to raise up the broken to life.
In Your mercy the pieces are gathered, mended and made whole.

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see.
Your grace is like an ocean, vast and soothing, powerful in all its moving. Your divine influence upon my life reflects itself dailyin my extraordinary abilities. What I once could not do due to my sinful nature, your empowering presence enables me to. To love, walk in purity, extraordinary wisdom and creativity.

Now we can shine bright like the divine reflectors of our good and gracious Creator. As Jesus is, so are we in this world. Not by our own strength but by grace.
