Words have a great impact on our lives. They can either build us up or tear us down. Frustrating or stressful situations can easily become an environment of hunting to tear each other apart instead of building each other up. Often times, we choose to hurt people instead of encourage them.

When we look for the flaws in others so that we can be the first to judge, we aren't making them stronger or giving them joy. And we aren't doing a thing for ourselves, either. Every wise woman builds up her household, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands. – Proverbs 14:1 (HCSB)

In Proverbs 14:1 we see just how powerful our words really are. We discover that what God is building up in us can easily become torn apart by words, whether they be spoken from our lips or someone else's.

The task to pour out grace unto others isn’t easy, but when we live with the understanding that we were made for God's glory, He will enable us to have the special strength it takes to show and receive the no grudges type of grace that is only found through relationship with our Creator.

Ladies, we are to reflect Christ in our lives- in our actions, thoughts and words. Grow to honor Him by pointing others to Him and choose to be overruled by His grace.
