Comparison is like a road of poison; once it has gotten into our hearts it’s hard to stop it. And as we take a step into that road, we begin to build a wall between God and us.
God wants nothing more than to break this self-destructive wall because He hungers for your attention and longs to pursue you.

Comparison stirs up darkness in our minds and makes us believe that we have to have someone's abilities, accomplishments and dreams. Sisters, do not let the lies of the enemy steal your freedom and kill your joy for what God has created in you! For God has created you in the most unique of all ways. He has given you rare gifts that only exist in the one and only you. But Moses said to the LORD, "Since I speak with faltering lips, why would Pharaoh listen to me?" (Exodus 6:30, NIV)

In Exodus 6:30, God reminds us not to underestimate Him by telling ourselves what we can or cannot do. God wants us to look at what He can mold us into. So many times I let myself stand in the way of His will.

He is telling me to be fierce in faith, but by comparing myself to others I out to make His will too complicated for myself.

Can you hear the quiet whisper of God? He wants to breath His life in your dreams.

Let us be thankful and worship Him for making us as beautiful as we are. Do not undermine His handiwork. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice. –Philippians 4:4
