"If I just touch His clothes, I will be healed." I can only imagine the desperation of the woman in Mark 5:25-34 as she came up behind Jesus in the crowd. She had heard about Him before and after years of suffering under the care of many doctors, this was her only hope.

I see myself in this woman; but I know physical healing is not the only health restoration I need. Broken hearts, broken spirits, broken relationships and broken dreams among others. Our life pieces scatter and in an attempt to fix them, our self-sufficiency glue dries up on our hands instead and our feet end up cut through and through, leaving bloody stains of shame and despair. The evil one hopes the injuries will make us stop and take defeat but you know what? I will keep on walking with my limp.

Why? I have received the restoring love and grace from my Father.
He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds. - Psalm 147:3 (NIV)
What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

All the kings’ horses and his men could not put my life together again; but when the King Himself came in, He took my broken pieces and made me whole again. We may trip and have our fragile vessels break, hearts ripped up and be heavy laden, but He is the lifter of our heads. Just as Jesus said to her ages ago, He says to us today: Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering. - Mark 5:34 (NIV)
