In the seasons faced within our twenties, we can easily find ourselves caught up with one question after the other.

Where is my career going? Who will be my partner? How can I afford to pay for this and that? Why do I keep making the same mistakes every time I go out?

But, I think the thing we hear ourselves asking time and time again is the question we can come face to face with through any and every stage of life: "What is my purpose?" Yes, you might hear this question and flick the panic button on, but I want to encourage you today. It’s totally fine that you don’t know what your purpose is yet- it’s a journey. When we start to seek Jesus with our whole heart and really ask Him to reveal what our purpose is, He will.

Know that it is only once you make yourself available to Him and stop trying to figure it all out in your own strength that he can come in and take control. Even in the mystery of the unknown, your purpose remains.

You can start to look at what others are accomplishing and start to get worried about where you are right now. But I want you to stop and choose not to think like that...God has His own unique and amazing plan just for you. He is waiting for you to stop looking and listening to others and just tune into His voice. He is the One who can can guide you through this life and ultimately lead you to the Kingdom-not the world.

Yes, you might look out and feel like all you see is fog, but let me encourage you by saying that Jesus will bring hope, light and direction into your life when you choose to see His will above all else. We must put the fullness of our faith in our Savior.

Trust Him. Stop looking at the paths of others that were not made for you and start looking at Him so you can start taking steps forward to the glorious future he has for you! Your best is yet to come.

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. -Philippians 1:6
