God isn't afraid of our weakness.

Jesus is the one who says Come to me ALL who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest -Matt 11:28.

Who can come?
ALL can come.

He then goes on to say in Matthew 11: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light - Matt 11:28–30.

Jesus says Take my yoke upon you. What does that mean?
He isn't adding to the load, He’s implying an exchange for it.
The exchange of our weariness; the exchange of our heaviness. For what? For His yoke of ease, light, and rest.
Sounding unfair yet? Welcome to the Gospel.

This is the heart of God on display through scripture.
The Gospel is His desire to see us as we are weary and heavy laden and, with open arms, He wants to redeem us in exchange for His glory. He wants to take where we fall apart and set us on His path to beauty.
But we too have a role in this, our role is to choose to come.
There have been times where I didn't feel I could come to God for the fear that my weakness separated me from Him or that I needed to "have it together” before I could come.

God isn’t afraid of how much we need Him. He also isn’t waiting for us to be perfect so we can come to Him. In fact, He created us with imperfection on purpose because in Him our imperfection is made perfect. You see, it’s all a grand picture to display who He really is, a God who wove the primal need for a Savior into the fabric of life. The need for a God who says, "Come as you are: tired, weary, sad, depressed, angry, bitter, or needing. Regardless of those things, the invitation for exchange remains the same. You don't have to have it together or cover up your brokenness. I want to exchange those things for what I have for you, and what I have is rest, life, light, and ease.
Just come.” Come to me ALL who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest. - Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
