Do you ever doubt your value in the kingdom of God? Or think your gifts seem less important than other's gifts? I know I have! I have been richly blessed to be surrounded by people who have incredible spiritual gifts that I can tangibly see played out. And if I am not careful my admiration turns to envy.

Instead of pressing into my gifts, I wonder why I wasn't given their gifts or why it seems like I have so few. I see this played out especially in my writing. I look at other people's blogs or books and think that I won't ever be able to reach people the way they can. Perhaps you can relate to this feeing of not being quite enough.

Well friends let me tell you something.. That thought of "I am not enough" is a lie straight from the enemy. Each of us have been given gifts with a specific purpose in mind. Your gifts are more than enough. Not only that but what you have been given is unlike any one else's gifts. You are needed in the body of Christ. What you have to offer is necessary. Like the human body, each part has a job to do. Take away a part and things don't work quite like they are supposed to.

God didn't mess up when He created you. You are exactly as He wanted you to be. That is the truth. Hold on to that truth until you truly believe it for your life. But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. As it is, there are many parts, but one body. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it - 1 Corinthians 12:18,20,27 (NIV)
