You want to quit because you began your own company with all your savings and business has started really slow. You’re becoming frustrated because you can’t seem to pass those exams and now you want to drop out of school. Those arguments from the lack of communication and jealousy are causing you to sever ties with friends and business partners. You aren’t being recognized for all of your hard work in ministry and now you want to leave your church.

Don’t do it. Hang on. Don’t quit. Now is not the time to give up. You will experience opposition from every direction when you are doing what God purposed you to do. However, you must not quit.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
-Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

A few months ago, I was ready to quit one of my small businesses. I was experiencing family issues, was sick, I was fearful, focused on the opinions of others, and lacked the confidence I needed to succeed. It seemed like every time I wanted to quit, the Holy Spirit would remind that, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me," (Philippians 4:13, KJV). I had to start making that declaration every morning until I really believed it. I’m so glad I did, because I made a small victory in my business last month, because I didn’t give up. All glory be to God!

When those thoughts of giving up enter your mind, you have to speak the Word of God to the enemy. Let him know “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us," (Romans 8:37, KJV). My friend you must remember, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:37, KJV)

If God is for you, who is going to stop you? Nobody.

When it seems like nothing is going right, be encouraged. Keep moving forward. Without the test, there is no testimony. Always remember, “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ," (Philippians 1:6, KJV). You’ve got this!
