"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." -Psalm 139:13-16 (NIV)

Friend, do you realize how incredibly special you are?

You are known. You were created with love and purpose, you were thought of and planned by a loving Father. Your Creator, God Himself, chose you, formed you and made every fiber, every hair and every part of you, "And the very hairs on your head are all numbered" (Matthew 10:30, NIV).

The One who knew you before you were born calls you by name and formed you in your mother's womb. His thoughts of you are endless. "How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you" (Psalm 139:17-18, NIV).

You are a child of God. If you feel hidden, unseen, or unimportant, seek refuge in your Maker, open your Bible and let the Holy Spirit speak life into your weary heart. If you're struggling with finding out your identity, go to the One who made you. Ask Him your questions, tell Him your struggles and your pain, He knows it all. There is no one too far gone for His acceptance, His grace or His love. Soak in this truth. He will confirm to you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made and one of a kind

God doesn't make mistakes.
When the lies begin as a whisper, remind yourself of your worth in Christ. Take hold of all of His Promises in His Word. Ground yourself in truth and remember Whose you are. Our validation, our acceptance, our confidence should come from already being known.
