When it comes to sharing about Jesus, it can be rather scary. We read Scriptures where people were persecuted, imprisoned, and even killed for loving Jesus. Additionally, this continues today when we read stories about missionaries who are imprisoned or killed for sharing the Gospel.

I find in seasons when I am not abiding in the Word, my speech is more critical and less wholesome. In contrast, I find that when I am spending time in the spiritual disciplines of reading the Bible and praying, the words that fall out of my mouth are more gentle and less harsh.

His very presence is peace. What is the commotion surrounding you? Does it feel like you are in the midst of chaos? Invite God in. He longs to have a special moment with you. He will stop to meet you amidst the hustle and bustle of this life.

We don’t have to wait until church to bring worship to God. In the in-between days, the trained, worshiping heart finds Him.
